A vintage bohemian house with a South of France feel

Who lives here

Luigi, Emma, and their two children Matteo (11) and Alice (8)

400 m2 (4305 square feet)

Jumeirah 2

When I discovered So Chic, the brand that Emma co-founded, I immediately loved that Frenchy fashion style brought to Dubai. When I stepped into Emma’s home, well I instantly fell in love with her boho-chic interior. I already liked what I saw from outside: the roughcast walls, the roof tiles, the pink bougainvilleas and I just knew it was going to get better once I stepped in. The unusual structure of the house, the bright living-room with its large window leading out to the cozy plant-filled garden and of course the home decor took me straight to happy summer days in the South of France! The only thing that reminds you that you are actually in Dubai is the stunning Burj Khalifa view that you get from the rooftop terrace!

Emma skillfully managed to mix her vintage furniture with modern and other ethnical pieces. Her style blends into different cultures and different times. Before moving to Dubai 5 years ago, Emma lived in Stockholm, NYC, Rome (where she met her Italian husband), Amsterdam and Geneva. Her home is filled with old art, travel memoirs, books and magazines, designer pieces and flea market finds. Art lined up on the floor, walls covered with beloved items, patterns, and texture that work beautifully together create an effortless, relaxed and comfortable style. Enjoy the tour!
